About this coffee

Daterra — meaning “from the earth” — is one of Brazil’s best-known coffee producers and exporters. Located in the Cerrado region, the farm enjoys ideal growing conditions: dry, cool winters and warm, humid summers. Since 1976, Daterra has led the way in quality, sustainability and innovation, becoming the first Rainforest Alliance–certified farm in Brazil.

This lot is part of their Espresso Collection, crafted with cup balance in mind. It combines two post-harvest techniques: some cherries are pulped at peak ripeness, while others are left to dry naturally on the tree. The result is a cup with great structure — rich chocolate, ripe orange, a touch of dried cherry, and a full, heavy body.
