About this coffee

Grown in the Toraja highlands of central Sulawesi, this coffee is collected in and around Kalossi, a well-known hub for coffee from the region. Formerly known as Celebes, Sulawesi is a stunning volcanic island with rich soil, high peaks and lush, tropical rainfall — ideal for coffee cultivation.

This lot comes from traditional Typica arabica trees, hand-picked and processed using the local wet-hulled (semi-washed) method, which gives many Indonesian coffees their distinctive flavour and texture.

Expect a gentle, earthy cup, with dried fruit sweetness, subtle spice, and bright red fruit acidity in the background.

A comforting, traditional Indonesian — layered, rustic, and full of charm.
